Tanabe san is an illustrator with a distinctive style, who held a capsule solo exhibition April 8 to 10 2016. He has an extensive tumblr site with 50 pages of illustrations, many of which feature the Nakagin Capsule Tower.

The Capsule Tower drawings are mainly in two groups from August 2015 (images on Page 44 and Page 45) and April 2016 (Page 39, Page 40 and Page 41) with an additional drawing from March 2016.
