Headed by founder Mr Tatsuyuki Maeda (前田達之さん), the Nakagin Capsule Tower Building Preservation/Regeneration Project (中銀カプセルタワービル保存・再生プロジェクト) seeks to preserve and restore the Nakagin Capsule Tower for future generations. The Project has done this primarily through:
- collaborating with Showcase Tokyo to provide capsule tours
- acquiring and restoring capsules
- providing a monthly capsule rental service
- crowdfunding the publication of books
- providing a central contact point for interviews, exhibitions, filming and photography
